A 1:10 Teacher-to-Student Ratio During Academics
During our academic block, we maintain a 1:10 teacher-to-student ratio so students can receive more personal attention than they often receive in larger traditional settings.
This smaller environment allows us to notice when a student is confused, overwhelmed, disengaged, excited, or ready for more challenge.
Consistent Hours for Focused Learning
Education Block: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
A dependable routine helps students arrive ready to learn.
Homeschool Classroom’s education block is held Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. During this focused three-hour block, students work toward their individual learning goals in a structured, supportive environment.
Consistent attendance helps students build strong routines, maintain academic momentum, and make the most of their time in the classroom.
Core Learning and Enrichment Together
Academics, Projects, and Life Skills
Students need core academic support, but they also need meaningful experiences that help them build confidence, curiosity, independence, and practical skills.
Homeschool Classroom supports both.
Students work through parent-selected curriculum and core subjects while also participating in rotating enrichment opportunities such as cooking, gardening, carpentry, art, science experiments, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, outdoor learning, social skills, and other student-interest-led projects.

Parents remain in charge of their child’s home education path. Families may provide or select the curriculum that fits their child’s needs, and Homeschool Classroom helps students work through that curriculum during the academic block. IXL is also available as a supplemental learning tool for additional practice and support.

Some students need a different kind of environment.
We support students with learning differences, attention challenges, anxiety, dyslexia, giftedness, autism, and students who simply need more flexibility, connection, and individualized support.
Homeschool Classroom is not therapy, and we do not promise guaranteed academic outcomes. But we do provide a caring, structured, supportive environment where students can be seen and supported as individuals.
Focused Core Learning With Support
The academic block is the heart of the day.
During this time, students work on core subjects, curriculum assignments, skill practice, and learning goals with guidance and support from our team.
Our academic block is designed around a 10:1 student-to-teacher ratio, allowing students to receive more attention, redirection, and encouragement than they may receive in a larger setting.
Students may work on areas such as:
English language arts
Math
Science
Life skills
History and social studies
Independent assignments
Skill practice through IXL when needed
Parents may provide or select their child’s curriculum. When a student does not yet have a parent-provided curriculum, Homeschool Classroom may use IXL as a backup learning tool to help keep the student practicing core academic skills.
The goal is not to rush every student through the same lesson at the same time. The goal is to help each student make steady progress with structure, support, and accountability.
Learning That Feels Useful and Personal
Students do not only learn through textbooks and screens.
That is why Homeschool Classroom includes rotating enrichment activities that allow students to explore interests, build practical skills, collaborate with others, and experience learning in a more hands-on way.
Enrichment activities may include:
Cooking and practical life skills
Gardening and outdoor learning
Carpentry and building projects
Small engines and mechanical exploration
Science experiments
Art and creative expression
Music
Entrepreneurship
Financial literacy
Social skills and collaboration
Enrichment options may rotate based on student interests, staff planning, materials, seasonality, and program needs.
These activities help students build confidence, curiosity, responsibility, and a stronger connection to what they are learning.
