Yes.

Parents remain responsible for legally homeschooling their child. This includes understanding applicable home education requirements, maintaining the home education program, selecting or approving curriculum, and remaining the school of record.

Homeschool Classroom supports the family but does not replace the parent’s legal role.

Homeschool Classroom is designed to provide services that may be helpful for families using Step Up For Students scholarship funds.

Families are responsible for confirming eligibility, approved uses, funding availability, and any scholarship-specific requirements.

We provide public tuition information and course descriptions to help families understand our services.

Homeschool Classroom serves K–12 students.

Because students vary widely in maturity, independence, learning needs, and support needs, enrollment is based on program fit and capacity.

Homeschool Classroom is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., except for major holidays and MLK Day.

No specific number of days or hours per day is required by Homeschool Classroom.

Families have flexibility within our operating hours. However, we encourage consistency because students often benefit from routine, relationship, and steady academic support.

Parents choose or provide the curriculum for their child.

Homeschool Classroom helps students work through parent-selected curriculum during the academic block. IXL is also available as a supplemental learning tool.

Yes. Students are expected to bring their own learning device when needed for their curriculum or assignments.

Devices are treated as learning tools and should be used according to program expectations.

Yes. Homeschool Classroom is designed to support many students who do not thrive in traditional classroom settings.

This may include students with ADHD, autism, anxiety, dyslexia, giftedness, executive functioning challenges, and other learning differences.

We are not a therapy provider, and we do not guarantee specific academic outcomes. Our goal is to provide a smaller, more supportive learning environment where students can be known, guided, and encouraged.

No. Parents provide lunch and snacks.

Homeschool Classroom does not provide hot cooked food service.

Students have a digital portfolio where work may be documented through scans, photos, completed assignments, project documentation, and other records.

Portfolios are updated daily or as work is completed. Parents can access portfolio information through the parent portal.
